About the Author

L. M. Spann is a Spelman College graduate with creative writing certification from the University of Pennsylvania. Her writing has appeared in Cul-de-sac of Blood and she’s working on getting more of her stories professionally published!

Spann’s favorite authors include the Great Octavia E. Butler, N. K. Jemisin, Nnedi Okorafor, and P. Djeli Clark. She’s eager to add her voice to the Afrofuturist, fantasy, speculative, and science fiction genres. Any genre that will take her, really.
